A.TOX INGREDIENT LIST

Argan Plant Stem Cells

Argan is an incredibly rich source of Vitamin E and essential fatty acids, providing healing, conditioning, and anti-aging properties to help nourish and moisturize the skin. With twice as much Vitamin E as olive oil and the addition of antioxidants, argan aids in skin cell regeneration. In addition, argan has been found to vitalize and protect dermal stem cells, maintaining their regeneration potential to reinforce the appearance of youthfulness. As a whole, this ingredient is designed to accelerate the skin’s natural repair process.

  • Improves skin density in the upper dermis
  • Anti-wrinkle effect on crow’s feet

Acai Plant Stem Cells

The acai berry aids in skin regeneration, combating early signs of aging. In a report from the National Institutes for Health (NIH), water extracts from the acai berry were found to have a positive effect on wound healing. Acai oil contains fatty acids that help the skin appear tight. In topical formulations, nutrients like fatty acids protect the skin from environmental aggressors and reduce the appearance of aging.

Acai is considered a superfruit, and abundant in vitamins and minerals. Specifically, acai is rich in omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids. Fatty acids revive the look of dry, dull skin, encouraging a youthful and supple appearance. Skin that is receiving enough fatty acids looks smooth and soft, while skin that’s not dries out, sags, and becomes dull. Acai, which is loaded with fatty acids, is a key ingredient in combating aging. In addition to fatty acids, acai is rich in antioxidants that fight free radicals, which are responsible for aging and disease. This keeps your skin happy, healthy and vibrant.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1

Also known as pal-GHK and palmitoyl oligopeptide, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 is a synthetic fatty acid-linked peptide that can help repair visible skin damage and strengthen the skin’s underlying supportive elements.

Palmitoyl tripeptide-1 is categorized as a messenger peptide due to its ability to “tell” skin how to look better, specifically in regard to visibly fading signs of sun damage, like wrinkles and rough texture. Some research has shown that this peptide has anti-aging benefits similar to retinol, a Vitamin A derived ingredient used in many skin care products.

Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7

This peptide compound is a type of synthetic peptide compound that combines several chains of amino acids to reduce skin inflammation and accompanying skin damage. It is also believed to stimulate the regeneration of collagen fibers in the dermis by acting as a cellular messenger.

Hyaluronic Acid

Helps reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles by retaining moisture in the skin and creating a plumping effect. When the skin is protected and hydrated, increased skin cell production can take place because the skin isn’t busy fighting for hydration. This leads to smoother, plumper skin cells.

Glycerin

This plant-derived compound is a moisturizing agent that acts like a sponge, pulling water into the outer layer of the skin from nearby sources, such as humidity in the air or deeper levels of the skin.

Coconut Oil

Known for its many benefits and applications, coconut oil is rich in fatty acids that replenish the skin’s vital substances, supporting a healthy and young appearance. Its antioxidant properties aid in the skin’s anti-pollution defense, while also visibly diminishing wrinkles and other signs of aging. The high saturated fat content in coconut oil also helps to moisturize dehydrated skin.

Avocado Oil

Used topically, vitamin-rich avocado carrier oil works as a regenerating, rehydrating treatment for skin, which soothes and enhances texture. It smooths wrinkles, tightens skin, and diminishes the appearance of scars, age spots and other unwanted blemishes. It can be used on dry, rough, aging, sensitive, or irritated skin, such as skin afflicted with psoriasis. When used in massages, it is known to naturally treat insomnia and inflammation, to reduce muscular stiffness, joint pain, and tension, and to boost circulation.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8

A synthetic peptide made from a protein found in Botox, acetyl hexapeptide-8 is primarily used in anti-wrinkle and anti-aging creams or serums. Like Botox, this compound tightens the skin and reduces wrinkles caused by smiling, squinting, and other tight movements.

Retinyl Palmitate

Research has shown retinyl palmita to be an effective antioxidant when applied to the skin. It is a combination of retinol, a vitamin A derivative with anti-aging benefits, and the fatty acid palmitic acid. Retinyl palmitate is found naturally in the skin where it works as an antioxidant, helping protect skin from UV light exposure.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is widely known for its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help to protect the body from damaging compounds known as “free radicals.” Normally, free radicals form when the body converts food into energy. However, free radicals can also come from UV light, cigarette smoke, and air pollution.

DMAE

DMAE offers anti-aging benefits by reducing the appearance of wrinkles, dark under-eye circles, and sagging neck skin. DMAE may help to increase skin firmness and curb inflammation in the skin. It may also help to lessen fine wrinkles on the forehead and around the eyes, improving the overall appearance of aging skin.

Titanium dioxide

Found in sunscreen, titanium dioxide is effective at blocking ultraviolet-B and short-wave ultraviolet-A rays.

Cucumber

Contains polysaccharides that are also found in aloe vera, which provide hydrating and anti-inflammatory benefits. Polysaccharides create a gel-like layer on the skin that acts as a barrier to attract and keep moisture in.
